Scholarships for sermons based on biblical concepts of stewardship are now available from Stewardship Ministries. Sophomore and junior religion and Christian education majors are encouraged to submit their original sermons. Five winners from Nazarene schools and universities will receive $1,000 each for their stewardship-focused sermon.
The generosity of a Nazarene family with a passion for stewardship in the church – along with a charitable gift annuity – has enabled Stewardship Ministries to offer these scholarships* for the 2009-2010 school year.
Applications and completed sermons are due to the director of Stewardship Ministries via e-mail, stewardship@nazarene.org, by February 20, 2009. All Religion Divisions at Nazarene schools received informational packets. If you would like to download an informational packet, click here.
